Kyrgyz president: SCO summit – step forward to strengthening of cooperation and mutual understanding

Azerbaijan, Baku, Sept.13 /Trend V. Zhavoronkova/ The meeting of SCO member-states heads held in Bishkek on Friday is a step forward on the path of strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev said on Friday at a news conference, devoted to the evaluation of the event. Kyrgyz President stressed that Bishkek declaration has international importance; it has approaches and assessments on the sharpest issues. The declaration maintains an action plan in this regard. Atambayev said the outcome of the summit also confirms commitment to modernize the economy The participant of the event also stressed the importance of developing cooperation in such spheres as economy, culture, humanitarian sphere, which will lead to the strengthening of good-neighborliness, Kyrgyz President added.
