L.BOLD RECEIVES SINGAPOREAN VICE FM

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold is satisfied with widening of the Mongolia-Singapore defense cooperation through the Shangri-La Dialogue. He said it on Wednesday while meeting with Mr Bilahari Kausikan, the Singaporean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. It is also important that the economic ties between our countries are activated, he went on. The FM said many Mongolian companies started their business from Singapore and that a friendly environment must be created for the business so that the collaboration widens between private sectors. Mr Kausikan expressed satisfaction with a successful development of the Mongolia-Singapore relations in all sectors, and underlined that he wants to deepen the bilateral ties. Then the sides exchanged views on developing of the cooperation at international arena. Mr Bold said Mongolia also wants a support from Singapore in joining the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), participating in the East Asia Summit (EAS) and in becoming a partner of the ASEAN.
