Letter to Kim Jong Un from Participants in Asia-Pacific On-line Seminar

Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from the participants in the Asia-Pacific regional on-line seminar "Mt Paektu and Korea Today" on April 25. The letter noted that the progressive people of the world are grandly celebrating together with the Korean people the 85th anniversary of the Korean People's Army founded by the great President Kim Il Sung, the 24th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the fifth anniversary of Kim Jong Un's assumption of the top posts of the party and state of the DPRK. We also recollect with deep emotion the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il who had reliably protected the Korean-style socialist system, smashing the vicious moves of the imperialist allied forces, the letter stressed, adding: In particular, we are deeply moved to see the fabulous miracles the DPRK is now working despite the persistent political and military pressure and sanctions by the hostile forces that have lasted for centuries. The participants in the letter affirmed that they would make every possible effort to successfully hold the Fifth International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu. -0-
