LIVE BIRTHS AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first half of this year, 35,945 mothers delivered 36,129 children, increasing 2,251 mothers or 6.7 per cent, and by 2,270 children or 6.7 per cent against the previous year. Nationwide, the infant mortality decreased 17 or 2.8 per cent to 590, a child mortality aged 1-5 decreased 6 or 4.7 per cent to 121. The number of unemployed stood at 47.5 thousand at the end of this June increasing 5.7 thousand people or 13.6 per cent against the same period of 2011. B.Khuder
