LIVE BIRTHS AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first nine months of this year, 55 thousand 611 mothers delivered 55,856 children, increasing by 3,338 mothers or 6.4 per cent and by 3,399 children or 6.5 per cent against same period of the previous year. At a national level, infant mortality decreased 14 or 1.6 per cent to 844, a child mortality aged 1-5 decreased by 3 or 1.6 percent to 185. The number of unemployed reached 44.1 thousand by the end of September 2012, reflecting an increase of 3.4 thousand people or 8.3 per cent against the previous year. B.Khuder
