LIVE BIRTHS INCREASE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first 11 months of this year, 64,667 mothers delivered 64,910 children (live births) showing an increase by 4,007 mothers or 6.6 per cent, and by 4,037 children or 6.6 per cent against the previous year. In the period, infant mortality decreased 120 or 10.2 per cent to 1,055, and 1-5 aged child mortality decreased by 86 or 27.1 per cent to 231 compared to the same period of the previous year. B.Khuder
