Mehmanparast: US Diplomacy, Destructive In Nature

Tehran, May 7, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast says the US diplomacy is destructive in nature, Islamic diplomacy is based on values and definitions. Addressing the Conference on Methodology of US Diplomacy: Structures and Agents, underway in the Faculty of Global Studies, Mehmanparast said in the US diplomacy there is no room for God fearing, while Islamic diplomacy is based on piety and fear of God. He said the US diplomacy is diverging in nature, whereas Islamic diplomacy is converging in nature. The Foreign Ministry spokesman said the US diplomacy is unilateralistic while the Islamic diplomacy is based on engagement and mutual respect./end
