MEMBERS OF CITIZENS' REP KHURAL OF CAPITAL CITY ELECTED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Wednesday evening, the Election Commission of City (ECC) revealed an official result of the election of the Citizens' Representative Khural of Capital city run on June 28. It has elected 45 members of the Citizens' Representative Khural of City, 30 of which are elected by the majority system, and 15 members--by the proportional system. By the proportional system, the DP got six seats, taking 157 thousand and 072 votes, or 35.59%; the MPP--four seats, taking 115 thousand and 869 votes, or 26.09%; the "Justice" coalition of Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and National Democratic Party--four seats, taking 101 thousand and 239 votes, or 22.80%; and the Civil Will-Green Party--one seat.
