Memorandum on Peerlessly Great Men's Exploits for Great National Unity

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of the Country of the DPRK issued a memorandum Thursday to convey the peerlessly great men's exploits for great national unity on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the publication of President Kim Il Sung's work "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country". The memorandum said Kim Il Sung is a peerless patriot who set forth his original idea of great national unity, consistently applied it in the whole period of his revolutionary leadership and thus provided the powerful driving force of national reunification. He found the essential way for settling national issues in the great national unity from the firm Juche-oriented stand and worked heart and soul to realize the country by the united efforts of the nation, it noted. Since the first day of national division by outsiders, he regarded the great national unity as the mainstay for national reunification and worked heart and soul to get all the compatriots united under the banner of patriotism, it pointed out. It noted that leader Kim Jong Il is the peerlessly great sage who successfully embodied Kim Il Sung's idea of great national unity. It stressed that he perfectly acquired Kim Il Sung's idea of great national unity at the noblest level and further developed it in depth as required by the new times. It pointed out that the cause of national reunification associated with the careers of the great leaders has greeted a fresh turning phase under the outstanding and tested guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is another prominent great man and peerless patriot. It said Kim Jong Un is the great lodestar of national reunification who is ushering in a fresh era of independent reunification by invariably maintaining and carrying forward the great leaders' idea and line of great national unity. It stated Kim Jong Un who possessed the great leaders' noble love for the nation and great virtues warmly treated south Korean personages and overseas compatriots and led them to the road of great national unity.
