MINISTER OF JUSTICE MEETS AMBASSADOR OF CHINA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Justice Kh.Temuujin received last week Mr Wang Xiaolong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia.
Beginning the meeting, the Minister noted that the two countries have been developing their cooperation at a high level and the collaboration between the legal bodies plays a big role in it. "I think China is a leading country in the world at maintaining laws and protecting borders, so Mongolia has a willingness to study China's experience in the law sector and also wants to have an attache on law in China," the Minister said.
In turn, Mr Wang emphasized the collaboration in realization of laws and protection of borders is one of the important parts of the bilateral relations. "Combating with illegal trade of drugs and smuggling is a part of our cooperation in the law sector," he added.
The Ambassador noted that the ties between the China's Ministry of Public Security and the Mongolia's Ministry of Justice have been forwarding, thus any trans-boundary crimes shall be tackled by the collaboration. He promised to convey to his side a proposal of the Minister of Justice to send a law attache, and also expressed a willingness of China to have a police attache in Mongolia.
Kh.Temuujin underlined significant contribution of the Ambassador to keeping a successful development of the cooperation between the Ministries.
