MINISTERS OF TRANSPORT, DEFENSE APPOINTED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Friday afternoon, the parliamentary session's plenary meeting discussed and then approved a matter on appointing J.Enkhbayar MP as the Ministry of Defense. This appointment took votes of 67.3 per cent of the MPs. One of them, N.Batbayar stressed that the Premier "should not have included a MP in the cabinet composition, sometimes differences between government and parliament's works are not seen". TYhe PM replied he supports a position stating that not more than one thirds of cabinet members can be parliamentarians "but this has not been approved by parliament yet." The same day, the plenary meeting approved an appointment of Ts.Dashdorj as the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development. He gained 64.2 per cent of votes. B.Khuder
