Mission of Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States: Current election best for technical equipment

Azerbaijan, Baku, October 10/Trend, E.Ismayilov/ The current election held in Azerbaijan is the best for the technical equipment, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci said on Thursday at the press-conference in Baku. According to him, three observation groups of the Council worked in three polling stations in the unoccupied territories of Agdam region. The mission didn't reveal irregularities, Akinci said. The representative of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States also stressed that there were different observation missions in all polling stations. "We congratulate the CEC with the great work thanks to which the election was held freely and democratically and at a high level," he said. The Azerbaijani presidential election was held on October 9. The current head of the state, the candidate from the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev leaves competitors far behind.
