MONEY TO BE GIVEN TO FAMILIES OF RESCUERS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A regular cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to give money to families of the three rescuers who lost lives while putting the steppe fire in Bayandun soum of Dornod province. Such allowance will be also given in a form of treatment expenses to the rescuers who got serious injures. The money is to be issued from the reserved fund. The cabinet expressed their condolences for the death of the rescuers of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), then the Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold gave a report on a present situation and gave obligations to related officials to set up a funeral commission and thoroughly inspect the situation with the fire. M.Enkhbold said a group of medical doctors and authorities of the NEMA had rushed by a helicopter the injured into the National Center of Traumatology and Rehabilitation on Wednesday. For the time being, their condition is rather critical. S.Batbold PM tasked the Deputy Premier with working out a proposal on measures for preventing such tragedies and introducing it to the cabinet.
