MONGOLIA TO HELP FOREIGN COUNTRIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to give 20 thousand US dollars worth hekp to the Kingdom of Thailand. This country has helped Mongolia in overcoming economy crisis, eliminating damages of forest fires, assisting herders who suffered from "zud" disaster, strengthening human resources capacity. In 2009, the princess of Thailand gave 60 thousand US dollars for starting a programme “Lunch” at a secondary school in Altanbulag soum of Tov aimag. . Another country will receive a help from Mongolia. As North Korea requested, 35 tons of goat meat will be bought and sent to it. The money needed for transportation are to be given from Mongolia's government reserve. Some 30 tons of goat meat were sent to North Korea last year. B.Oyundelger
