MONGOLIA MAKES DIPLOMATIC TIES WITH SOUTH SUDAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has established the diplomatic relations with the Republic of South Sudan. The documents on these relations were signed on December 20 in New York, USA, by the two countries' Permanent Representatives to the United Nations (UN). The diplomatic relations have been established under the Foreign Ministry's goal to create such ties with the UN members in frames of the 100th anniversary of contemporary diplomatic service of Mongolia and 50th anniversary of joining the UN. The countries have agreed to develop the bilateral relations and cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian and other sectors by maintaining the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the UN Charter and principles and norms of international laws.
