MONGOLIA TAKES PART IN INT'L SEMINAR ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Secretary of the Minister of Population Development and Social Welfare B.Otgonjargal has participated in international seminar dedicated to Asia Pacific human development matters. The measure, hosted by International Centre for Human Development /ICHD/, ran in Indian New Delhi October 29-30 with a participation of some 20 regional countries. It aimed to build up the capability of human development in the way of contributing in the country's human development program by sharing and exchanging experiences and information between participant countries. Ms Otgonjargal chaired the meeting themed "Concept of population development and urgent problems" in the frames of the seminar. She also held meetings with officials of India's government to touch upon a further cooperation matters, particularly in the human development and social welfare. Apart of this, the State secretary and several institutions agreed to launch a collaboration.
