MONGOLIA-UNDP JOINT PROJECT TO BE REALIZED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has decided to implement a project on strengthening of a national capacity to put control over an implementation of the human rights. A related document was signed on December 28 by J.Byambadorj, a head of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR), and by Ms. Sezin Sinanoglu, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia. With main purposes to support human rights and to strengthen the national system of human right protection, the project's core implementer will be the NCHR. The project also has goals to research factors influencing human rights matters and certain groups and to tackle problems in human rights. This project is a part of the Mongolia-UNDP agreement on refining upon the national system of protecting human rights. B.Khuder
