MONGOLIA-VIETNAM CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam ran in Hanoi on October 16. Mongolia was represented by a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Mr D.Gankhuyag and the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Mongolia to Vietnam Mr D.Enkhbat, the Vietnamese side--by a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Ho Xuan Son. The two vice ministries noted that the friendly and traditional relationship of the two countries has been developing successfully and underlined that the possibility exists to expand the cooperation in all sectors. The sides agreed to be active in intensifying the economical relationship, for example, in seeking possibilities of making direct flights between Mongolia and Vietnam, of supporting the businessman and students exchange, of establishing contacts between the media and public organizations. The Vietnamese side appreciated and accepted the Mongolian side's suggestion on running the consultative meetings every year. Then they decided that the 15th meeting of the intergovernmental Commission on economic, scientific and technical cooperation will be arranged in Hanoi this November. Mr Gankhuyag said Vietnam is an important partner of Mongolia in the Eastern Asia. Ch.Enkhtuya
