MONGOLIANS AND RUSSIANS TO VISIT EACH OTHER WITHOUT VISAS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Russian Federation on mutual trips of citizens, signed on September 3 of 2014 during a visit of President V.Putin to Mongolia, will enter into force this November 14. According to the agreement, the Mongolians and Russians with all types of passports may enter, exit, travel through, and stay on the territory of the other state visa free for up to 30 days. A total time of the stay is not to exceed 90 days in a 180-day period, starting from the day of the first entrance. Citizens of one state intending to stay or live on the territory of the other state for more than 30 days or to engage in work or commercial activities there, must obtain a visa in accordance with the legislation of the other state.
