MONUMENT ERECTED FOR FIRST MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place on Tuesday to inaugurate a monument of Chin Van Khanddorj, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, on occasion of the 100th anniversary of contemporary diplomatic service of Mongolia. The monument has been designed by a sculptor G.Enkhtor with a sponsor from the "Chin Van Construction" company led by J.Chinbat. Made of natural granite, the 5 m height monument has been casted by the "Mongol Uran Tsutguur" company. Present at the ceremony were S.Batbold, the Prime Minister of Mongolia; G.Zandanshatar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Yo.Otgonbayar, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science; D.Tsogtbaatar, the State Secretary of Foreign Ministry; diplomats and media.
