Move to censure Thai government begins
BANGKOK, November 25 (TNA) - A three-day no-confidence debate against Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and three ministers, lodged by major opposition Democrat Party, began Sunday.
The move will last until Tuesday and a vote will be taken Wednesday.
Miss Yingluck and three ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Police Captain Chalerm Yubumrung, Defence Minister Air Chief Marshal Sukumpol Suwanatat and Deputy Interior Minister Police Lt. Gen. Chat Kuldilok are targets in the debate.
The 15-month-old coalition government has been alleged of its incompetence in national administration, tainted with corruption and nepotism.
It is expected that the coalition government would comfortably overcome the debate because of its commanding majority in the lower house. (TNA)
