MP N.OYUNDARI REQUESTS EU TO SUPPORT INTRODUCTION OF EURO STANDARD

Ulaanbaaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the Mongolia-Europe group in Parliament of Mongolia, Member of Parliament N.Oyundari met Marko Ferri, Charge d’affaires of the European Union Delegation to Mongolia on Monday. At the beginning of the meeting MP N.Oyundari noted the EU is one of the biggest investors to Mongolia and it is important for Mongolia to broaden relations and cooperation with many countries. She requested Mr.Marko Ferri to collaborate and focus attention on certain issues including backing investment to Mongolia from the EU countries and introduce euro standard in Mongolia to export Mongolian goods on European market. MP N.Oyundari also asked European Investment Bank to collaborate and render financial support on implementing project against desertification. Moreover she expressed willingness to learn from EU experience in protecting human rights, to get information, organize trainings and collaborate in translation of international conventions into Mongolian language. Mr.Marko Ferri accepted the requests and he expressed readiness to cooperate with Mongolia. Specifically they agreed to conduct training to staffs of prosecutor's offices and other judicial organizations in January 2018 in frame of protecting human rights. B.Batchimeg
