N.Altankhuyag PM meets JICA president

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister of Mongolia N.Altankhuyag Thursday received Mr Tanaka Akihiko, the president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). They discussed the "UN Street" project which includes package of projects on constructing a highway along the Tuul river, resolving the sewage system of ger (national dwelling) areas and furnishing, constructing a metro line in Ulaanbaatar, and on a soft-loan for implementing the "New Soum" project. The dignitaries also discussed other important matters regarding a preparation of professionals for environment and mining construction, a cooperation in industry development, an establishment of an oil refinery in Darkhan, of metallurgy and coke coal factories based on iron ore deposit in Darkhan and Selenge aimags. After this meeting, the Premier received Hiromasa Yonekura, the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (KEIDANREN).
