NAME AND STRUCTURE OF UNIVERSITY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS CHANGED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A structure of the University of International Affairs will be renovated, changing it as the University of Law Enforcement (ULE).
This decision was made on Saturday by the regular cabinet meeting. An obligation has been given to the Minister of Justice to appoint a new rector of the university this month, to approve the rules and quota of the staffers and to have the cabinet adopted standards of the cadet uniform.
The cabinet considered as necessity to reform the university's operational content and technologies in conjunction with some requirements like bringing the national higher education system into international level and to refine upon activities of the court institutions and a reform in the public special services. In addition, the Institute of Disaster Studies and the Methodological Center of Preparing Rescuers have been transmitted into the structure of the ULE.
At the Ministry of Justice, the ULE bears orientations of preparing officers with higher and special educations to serve in law enforcement and security ensuring organizations, improving the career of officers and conducting scientific and research works.
It has been planned to set up a new school of investigators at the ULE.
