Navy Torpedo Units Attacking Surface, Aerial Targets

Chabahar, Sistan and Baluchestan Prov, Dec 31, IRNA – Spokesman for “Velayat-90” navy drills Admiral Seyyed Mahmoud Mousavi said Saturday that marine rocket units based on missile-carrying destroyers will be attacking hypothetical surface, flying and bright targets. During the eighth day of the maneuver all units taking part in the drills will be harmonized to attack both surface and aerial targets with high precision and destroying force, the admiral added. He also said that nullifying e-war tricks, final testing of satellite and long-range equipment, operations to exchange forces and equipment in the sea and patrolling operations are among other activities taken by the navy during the drills. The four-stage Navy war games Velayat-90 opened on Saturday and will continue until January 3.
