NEW ROADS CONSTRUCTED IN AND TO ARKHANGAI

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ New three autoroads have been put into use in Arkhangai aimag. In this ceremony present were Kh.Battulga, the Minister of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development; S.Lambaa, the Minister of Health; R.Gonchigdorj and N.Batbayar MPs; B.Enkhtor, the head of the Autoroad Department; Yo.Baatarbileg, the governor of Arkhangai aimag, and others on November 20. Some 60 km road has been run from a bridge of the Khanui river to Khalzan burgedei mountain in the aimag's Ondor-Ulaan soum, and 37.6 km road--between the Khanui river and Ikhtamir soum. Over 29 km paved-road has been constructed between Kharkhorin soum and Tsetserleg soum as well. This construction has been performed for three years by the “Mon Road”, “Khurdnii zam” and the “Altain zam” companies in a scope of the governmental goal to connect centers of aimags to the capital city. Arkhangai province is the ninth one to be connected with the city. It is expected that roads will be constructed between the city and the western aimags from the next year. B.Khuder
