Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Gobi-Altai aimag's Khaliun soum has started a preparation for planting on 300 hectares area. It is expected that six entities, 120 families and five organizations will plant potatoes and vegs on 100 hectares, sea-buckthorn, dwarf apple and apricot--on 30 hectares, barley--on eight hectares, and green fodder--on 60 hectares. ** ** ** A governor of the aimag's Bayan-Uul soum has done many works to improve breeds of livestock. This spring, a total of 50 baby goats were born from 50 goats with a help of making an artificial insemination with deep-frozen sperms of the dairy cattle breeds. ** ** ** Proposals have been offered to investors to urgently implement 15 projects out of 126 for implementing the long-term developmental plan of Bayan-Uul soum. In the first turn, the projects should be realized for connecting the soum's center with fiber-optical cable, increasing number of cell phones and of fenced farm lands, for combating pests, establishing wool processing workshop, bathroom, for repairing school buildings, with financing of MNT 791 million.
