None Can Stop Iran From Developing Peaceful N-program: Pakistani Analyst

Islamabad, April 18, IRNA – A Pakistani analyst on Tuesday made it clear that Iran is a brave nation and nobody can stop Iran from developing peaceful nuclear program.
Talking to IRNA Nazir Hussain, Associate Professor, Department of International Relations, Quaid-i-Azam University said that it is evident from the history that Iran cannot be pressurized.
“As long as the Iranian nation is attached to their ideological principles no country in the world can defeat it,” he opined.
The analyst expressing his views said there is no doubt that diplomacy is the only solution to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
He said that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has already issued a religious decree clearly stating that use of nuclear weapons is forbidden under Islam.
Nazir Hussain maintained Iran is a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and can use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. “NPT allows countries to develop peaceful nuclear program,” he noted.
The analyst was of the view that West has got nothing by imposing sanctions on Iran and they have to sit with Iran on the table.
“The resumption of dialogue between G5+1 and Iran is the success of the Islamic Republic,” he added.
Nazir Hussain said that statement issued after the dialogue terming it as constructive is actually the success of Iranian diplomacy.
The intellectual said US policies have failed in the Middle East. He added in current uprising in Arab states there are no signs of American policies. “Let me say that US power is going down in the whole region,” said the researcher.
The professor opined US has been following a policy of protecting the Zionist regime which is failed today. “The American aggressive policy towards Iran has been failed miserably,” he added.
The analyst said to acquire peaceful nuclear technology is in the mind of whole Iranian nation and nobody can stop it from developing nuclear program.
He said that Israel wants to maintain their monopoly on nuclear technology in the region. “The policy of US is in fact the policy of the Zionist regime,” said the educationist.
The analyst expressing his views over the reaction of the UAE to the recent visit of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Abu Musa Island said that the island belongs to Iran and the Iranian President had visited his own territory.
Nazir Hussain said that the control of these islands was handed over to Iran by the British rulers in 1969 whereas the UAE came into existence in 1971, so how UAE can claim the ownership of these islands.
