NUMBER OF CRIMES INCREASES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At a national level, 2,265 crimes were registered in January of 2012, reflecting an increase by 413 crimes or 22.3 per cent against the previous year. This increase occurred due to the increases in crime against the right of ownership (255), against human life and health (or physical well-being) (110), against the rules of safety of traffic and use of motor vehicles (20) compared to same period of the previous year. Due to these crimes, 707 people were injured, 199 died. The number of the injured went up by 61 people or 9.4 per cent, of died--by 20 people or 11.2 per cent against the previous year. B.Khuder
