O.DAMBIINAYM ATTENDS FOREIGN MINISTERIAL MEETING OF ACD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by O.Dambiinyam, the Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in a Foreign Ministerial Meeting held on Sunday within the First Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit started on Tuesday in El-Kuwait city, Kuwait. In a speech, Mr Dambiinyam noted that the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) has an opportunity to contribute to the regional peace and development, and mentioned the ACD members are facing many requirements as to activate and expand the relations and cooperation. He said the Mongolian side thanks Kuwait for a decision to establish a Secretariat at the ACD with an aim to forward its actions. Moreover, Mr Dambiinyam underlined that chairing the Community of Democracies (CoD) Mongolia is focusing great attention on matters on the cooperation of world countries, education for democracy, participation of civil society, and combating a corruption. Then he urged nations to take part in a Ministerial-level high-level meeting of the CoD to run in April of 2013 in Ulaanbaatar. After the meeting, Mr Dambiinyam shared views on the Mongolia-Kuwait relations with Haled Al-Jarala, Kuwait's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. B.Khuder
