Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolians have taken part in the first high level session of the Asian cooperation dialogue /ACD/ which ran in Kuwait on October 15-17. The delegation was headed by the Ambassador-at large of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade Mr O.Dambiinyam. While addressing the session, he spoke about foreign policy and economic situation of Mongolia, and stressed that Mongolia has been contributing to the regional peace and stability by educating national staffers from some countries since 2003 and by running other works. He said Mongolia wants to participate in agriculture, environment and tourism projects. He noted that Mongolia as the chair of the Community of democracies has been focusing on active cooperation with countries, especially on democratic education, participation of civil society and anti-corruption actions. Then he appealed to all to take part in the high level Ministerial meeting scheduled in Ulaanbaatar in April of 2013. Present at the session were Presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Tajikistan, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Sultan of Brunei, PMs of Thailand, Pakistan and representatives of international organizations. The session issued a declaration of the Asian cooperation Dialogue and a “Kuwait Declaration”. Mongolia became a member of the Asian cooperation Dialogue/ ACD/ in 2004. Ch.Enkhtuya
