Pakistani Analyst Asks US To Avoid Madness

Islamabad, March 4, IRNA – A senior Pakistani foreign affairs expert Prof. B.A. Malik Saturday urged the US President Barrack Obama to avoid what he called madness of thinking attack on Iran.
Malik, also a former ambassador, said that any US attack on Iran will 'burn the whole region' and will badly affect the world peace.
“It is unfortunate and very sad that the US is not following international laws of dialogue and is hurling threats to a sovereign country,” Malik told the state-run television.
He told the PTV in an interview that if the Americans launched attack on Iran with the connivance of Israelis it will be disastrous and dangerous.
“I hope Obama’s threats will only be a statement but if the Americans materialize them, it will be like a storm to engulf the whole region as well as the world,” the former ambassador said.
He said Pakistan will also be affected due to the possible instability as ‘We are in the process to get gas from Iran’.
Malik also described as unfair threats against Iran by President Obama, urging the US to follow the path of dialogue with Iran./end
