PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION LEAVES FOR UGANDA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker D.Demberel left on Tuesday for Uganda to take part in the 126th Assembly of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU). It will run from March 31 to April 5 in Kampala city.
The delegation has comprised G.Batkhuu, a Vice Speaker of Parliament; O.Enkhtuvshin MP, a head of the Mongolian People's Party's (MPP) faction; Ch.Saikhanbileg MP, a head of the Democratic Party's faction; Ts.Tsengel MP, and Ts.Sharavdorj, the secretary-general of the parliamentary office.
This year's session will run discussions on global politics and socio-economic situation under a core topic "Parliaments and people: Bridging the gap". Meetings of the Assembly Standing committees will discuss urgent problems facing the world's countries and then release some documents. An agenda is to be considered for 127th Assembly, and reporters will be selected as well.
Ts.Sharavdorj will participate in a regular meeting of the Society of Parliamentary General Secretaries.
