PEOPLE BECOME STATE PRIZE HOLDERS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A ceremony took place on Monday in the Government House to award the State Prize of Mongolia.
By a decree of the President, this year's State Prize has gone to professor O.Batsaikhan (PhD), a manager of the Institute of International Studies at the Academy of Sciences; Dr. J.Baatarkhuu, an advisory engineer of the "Erdenet" Mining Corporation; Dr. Z.Ganbaatar, a State Honored Industrial Worker; and to D.Bold, a pop singer.
O.Batsaikhan has written books on Mongolia's history of early 20th century, national liberation revolution of 1911, role of the 8th Jebtsundamba Khutuktu in Mongolia's gaining the independence, and on the 1915's Treaty of the Three Countries in Khyakhta.
Dr. Baatarkhuu and Dr. Ganbaatar have co-invented a concentrating technology accorded with changes in ore properties in order to tackle problems, caused by geological difficulties at the "Erdenetiin ovoo" deposit. They also have written a book named "Technical renovation of enriching copper and molybdenum ores and intensive technology" that simplified industrial processes.
The pop singer D.Bold has given his concert named "Mongolian pop" that managed to combine the national folk art with the contemporary pop genre.
