Persian Gulf countries possibly to adopt single visa system

Azerbaijan, Baku, August 30 /Trend,A.Taghiyeva/ Arab countries of the Persian Gulf intend to adopt single visa system for foreign tourists by analogy with Schengen visa in Europe, Kuwaiti Al-Rai newspaper reported on Friday. According to the newspaper, a foreign tourist who gets a visa of one Persian Gulf country will be able to travel over all six Arab countries of this region which are the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The members of GCC intend to adopt such visa system in the coming years. The foreign citizens will be required to have a certain amount in a bank account for obtaining this visa.
