PHOTO EXHIBITION TELLS ABOUT MONGOLIA UN HISTORY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Mongolia's joining the UN, a "Cooperation of Mongolia and UN for 50 years" photo exhibition opened on December 9 in the UN office in New-York, the USA. The exhibition presents 88 photos depicting historical moments of the Mongolia-the UN's cooperation. Speeches at the opening ceremony have been given by O.Enkhtsetseg, the Resident representative of Mongolia to the UN and by Kiyotaka Akasaka, the under Secretary-General for Communications and Public information of the UN. Present there were also high level officials of the UN, Resident representatives at the UN, diplomats and other officials. The exhibition will be open until December 17. B.Oyundelger
