PM’s visit to US not scheduled yet

BANGKOK, June 27 (TNA) -- The planned visit to the United States of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has not been scheduled pending the readiness of both countries, according to Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai. US President Donald Trump would attend a G20 meeting in Germany in July and Thailand had many issues to arrange before the trip, he said. Regarding the Trafficking in Persons Report to be announced tonight, Mr Don said that Thailand had done its best to solve the problem and considered it as an issue of national importance. No matter what resulted from the report, anti-human trafficking efforts would continue in the country, he said. The efforts would tackle human trafficking by both Thai and foreigners, Mr Don said.
