PM TO VISIT JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold will pay an official visit to Japan on March 11-15 at an invitation of his counterpart Yoshihiko Noda. This visit is to be paid in frames of the 40th anniversary of the Mongolia-Japan diplomatic relations. In Japan, the two Premiers will hold negotiations, then S.Batbold will meet with Takahiro Yokomichi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and with Kenji Hirata, the Speaker of the House of Councillors, to sharing views on the bilateral relations and cooperation. He will also address a seminar for Mongolian and Japanese businessmen in Tokyo. S.Batbold PM intend to meet authorities of Japan to share views on the Mongolia-Japan strategic partnership relations and cooperation, including ways of widening the economic cooperation and of facilitating the visa terms for citizens of the two countries, and on international and regional matters. The Premier also plans to meet administrative officials of the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) and of the biggest companies that want to invest in Mongolia's mineral and infrastructure sectors. On March 11, the Premier will pay tribute to victims of the tsunami occurred last year in Japan. Then he will participate in an opening ceremony of the Consulate of Mongolia in Osaka prefecture. Apart of this, the Premier will hold in Tokyo a meeting with the Mongolians who work or live in Japan. The two sides will release a communique. B.Khuder
