PM TO VISIT THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh is to pay an official visit to the Republic of Korea on January 15-17 at an invitation of his counterpart Lee Nak-yeon. It will be his first official visit abroad since taking office in October, 2017. The visit aims to hold talks on strengthening political trust, augmenting bilateral trade turnover, investment, soft loan and non-refundable assistance, and facilitating traveling conditions of citizens within the framework of developing comprehensive partnership relations with ‘third neighbor’ the Republic of Korea. The parties also exchange views on interested regional and international matters. During the visit, the PM U.Khurelsukh will pay a courtesy call on President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and hold an official talk with his counterpart Lee Nak-yeon. Moreover, it is planned to meet with some members of the National Assembly and Government of the country, attend the Mongolia-Korea Business Forum and meet with Mongolians living in the country. M.
