PM visits Nakhon Ratchasima for mobile cabinet meeting
BANGKOK, Aug 21 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha took a flight to Nakhon Ratchasima province for an inspection trip and a mobile cabinet meeting on Aug 21 and 22.
On Monday, the prime minister has paid respect to the statue of Thao Suranaree and present land use documents to people in Hua Thalay sub-district in the provincial seat. Then, he would proceed to Prathai district to be briefed on water management and development projects.
On Tuesday, the prime minister will chair a mobile cabinet meeting at the Suranaree University of Technology in the provincial seat.
The cabinet will consider requests for 11 billion baht for 42 development projects in the Northeast.
They include a regional water management project, the repair of flood-damaged infrastructures, a high-speed railway from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima, and a Bang Pa-in-Nakhon Ratchasima motorway.
The prime minister’s delegation will return to Bangkok aboard a C-130 plane of the air force at 1.30pm. (TNA)
