PM visits Sakaeo

SAKAEO, Aug 28 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday visited the eastern province of Sakaeo to follow up on special economic zone development. The prime minister chaired the meeting on special economic zone development at Indochina Hotel in Aranyaprathet district. Agenda of the meeting includes private investment trend, improvement of customs management to accommodate Sakaeo Special Economic Zone, management of migrant workers and counterfeit products. This afternoon, he will travel to Khok Sung Land Reform Agricultural Cooperative to hand over land lease contracts to four cooperatives. He will also present house models and factors of production to seven representatives of Khok Sung Land Reform Agricultural Cooperative, hand down operational guideline, and greet the local people. Productive land tenure management is the Government’s policy to tackle problems related to land tenure in a tangible manner, thereby, minimizing social disparity, and increasing competitiveness of the agricultural sector, according to the Royal Thai government website. The prime minister and delegation is scheduled to return to Bangkok at 4.30pm today. (TNA)
