PREMIER TO INFORM ON SPENDING OF GENGHIS BOND CAPITAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a plenary session meeting of the parliament on Friday afternoon, the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag will inform on the spending of the Genghis Bond capital of the Mongolian Government. The Premier informs on activities of the Government and answers questions of MPs every fortnight in a parliamentary session. This time, he will talk about projects funded from the capital of the Government Bond that has helped the Government of Mongolia to raise US$ 1.5 billion since being issued in the global market. Sectors such as infrastructure (building of roads, railways and power stations), and textile (wool and cashmere factories) has received financing from that bond money, and the remaining half of the bond capital has been placed in the Development Bank of Mongolia, informs the Economic Development Minister.
