Preparation is underway for ASEM Summit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of External Relations and Economic Cooperation, also the Office of the National Security Council (NSC) and several other organizations have set up a working group that will ensure a preparation for the 2016 ASEM Summit to be held in Mongolia. Last week, the group’s members exchanged views on preliminary researches and plans. Established in 1996, the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) currently has 53 partners, 51 of whom are countries and two--international organizations such as the European Union and the ASEAN. The 11th Summit of ASEM will run here coinciding with its 20th anniversary.
