President Ahmadinejad Departs Niger For Ghana

Niamey, April 17, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, at the end of his official visit to Niger on Tuesday afternoon, departed Niamey for Accra, capital city of Ghana. Niger President Mahamadou Issoufou and a number of cabinet ministers bid farewell to the Iranian president and his accompanying delegation at the airport. During his 2-day visit to Niamey, President Ahmadinejad had two rounds of talk with his Nigerian counterpart and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for joint cooperation. Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Minister of Energy Majid Namjo, Agricultural Jihad Minister Mohammad Sadeq Khalilian, Acting minister of Cooperative, Labor and Social Welfare Asadollah Abbasi, Head of NAM secretariat Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei, Senior Advisor to President Mojtaba Thamare Hashemi and a number of other senior officials are accompanying President Ahmadinejad in this trip.
