President Ahmadinejad May Attend Chavezˈs Funeral Ceremony

Tehran, March 6, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Wednesday said he would probably attend funeral procession of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. President Ahmadinejad made the remarks while talking to reporters after the Wednesday morning cabinet session. President Chavez died on Tuesday at the age of 59 from cancer which he suffered from for years. The late Chavez was known as leader of “Bolivar Revolution” because of his policies and opposition to the US foreign policy. He founded the leftist political party Movement of the Fifth Republic with the aim of bringing welfare for his nation and decreasing class differences in Venezuela./end
