President to attend opening of Parliament spring session

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Parliament’s spring session opens tomorrow, and President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj will be present at the opening. Mongolian President attends a Parliament session if he chooses. This spring session will thus be the last session of Parliament that he attends as President of Mongolia. And the Parliament that was formed as a result of the 7th parliamentary elections of Mongolia is going to convene its second session tomorrow. The current Parliament of Mongolia is constituted by 65 seats of Mongolian People’s Party, 9 seats of Democratic Party, 1 seat of Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party and an Independent member, with 13 female members or 17.1 percent which indicates the highest representation of women in the Parliament.
