PRESIDENT OF INDONESIA MEETS PM

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME The President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received the Prime Minister of Mongolia, N.Altankhuyag on September 6. Prime Minister wished the President a success in his visit. He said the memorandums signed will bring a progress to the cooperation and added it can be expanded, for example, in mining and coal and in meat export. He hoped that Mongolia and Indonesia will attend actively region politics and economic multilateral ties, and support each other. Mongolia wants to become a member of ASEAN, to attend Southeast Asia's high level meetings, to become a partner of ASEAN talks, a member of APEC. In response, Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said he supports the PM's proposals. Indonesia wants to import to Mongolia palm tree oil. It is of importance to support private sectors' cooperation, he said and invited the PM to Indonesia. Mr Altankhuyag said the government will implement these issues. "Many works await us, we will support businessmen from Mongolia and Indonesia”.
