PRESIDENT OF INDONESIA WILL PAY VISIT TO MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President of Republic of Indonesia, Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is to pay a state visit to Mongolia on September 5-7 at invitation of the President Ts.Elbegdorj. The President of Indonesia paid a visit to Mongolia on September in 1956, and diplomatic relations were established in December 21 of 1959. Then, former President of Mongolia P.Ochirbat visited Indonesia in 1997, the former President of Indonesia Megawati Sukarnoputri visited us in 2003. Ts.Elbegdorj and Dr Susilo will hold negotiations, besides, the sides will discuss issues of activating economy, trade, investment relations, collaboration between Mongolia and Indonesia, and a document on cooperation in agriculture and culture spheres are expected to be inked. The sides will also exchange views on regional and international matters of mutual interest. The Speaker of parliament and the Prime Minister will be received by the President of Indonesia.
