PRESIDENT KH.BATTULGA MEETS PRESIDENT OF RUSSIAN RAILWAYS

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The President of Russian Railways JSC, Oleg Belozerov paid a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia, Khaltmaagiin Battulga at the State House on February 2. Oleg Valentinovich Belozerov, who was paying a short visit to Mongolia, has been taking active part in forwarding bilateral cooperation in railways sector since his appointment to the position of the president of Russian Railways JSC. At the meeting, Oleg Belozerov expressed gratitude to the Mongolian President for his time. He said Russian Railways has been doing a job, but Ulaanbaatar Railway a better job. He noted the current railway development can be accelerated, and asked President Battulga to attach a special importance to the issue. In response, President Kh.Battulga mentioned railways development is of great significance in Mongolia’s economic growth, and proposed to forward the dialogues and negotiations on renovations at the Ulaanbaatar Railway JSC.
