PRESIDENT LAUNCHES VISIT TO SINGAPORE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and accompanying him delegation landed at the Singapore Changi international airport on Monday. The President was greeted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Singapore B.Delgermaa and Concurrent Ambassador of Singapore to Mongolia Peter Tan Hai Chuan, a Director-General of the Department of Northeast Asian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Yip Wei Kiat and other officials from PM’s Office and Foreign Ministry of Singapore. The leader of Mongoia is to meet with the President Tan and receive the Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana, the official residence and office of the President. Mr Tan will also give a state banquet in honor of the Mongolian President. In addition, Mr Elbegdorj will visit institutions to learn about Singapore's environmental policies and promote business ties between his country and Singapore.
